Calling For Artwork Illustrating Global Friendship and Understanding; against violence and conflicts

 

 

For Our Exhibition Sites

Winning Artwork will join the "Peace Art Journey" Exhibit on its World Tour, showing at such places as the Former Bank of Japan in Hiroshima 

Who can enter:  Age 6 to 18 (Grade School to High School)  Three age levels :  Ages 6-10; Ages 11-14; Ages 15-18 

Must Have/Create an Instagram Account

What: paintings, drawings of any medium

 (watercolor, oil , acrylic, pencil, sumi and charcoal)

 

Prize: Top Award $200 (for each age category) 

Winning Artwork will join the "Peace Art Journey" Exhibit on its world tour!

Application and Guidelines:

 

First Round: 

Use the link above to fill out the application form, and post a picture of your artwork on Instagram using #hiroshimapeaceartcontest2015. You have to complete both these steps to be entered into the contest!

 

Judges will choose their favorite artworks from the submitted applications, and finalists will be contacted via email or a call. 

 

Second Round:

Finalists will be asked to mail their artwork to our US office. Judges will choose a winner artwork from each age category. Winners will be announced at each phase pre-exhibition.

 

The top prize artwork from each age category will join the ongoing Harmony For Peace Foundation’s Peace Art Journey Exhibit, which has been traveling through Europe, US and Asia. More details about the exhibit.
