On behalf of the Harmony For Peace Foundation, it is my heartfelt pleasure to welcome you this evening as we celebrate our 15th year of promoting peace through music. Thank you for joining us to celebrate this special milestone event. Our mission is to share the message of peace and love through music, bringing us together to cherish our youth, value our friendships, celebrate our differences, and most importantly, respect each other. We believe in the magical power of music to heal, inspire, and uplift us all. This evening, with the enchanting artistry of music, we have united musicians from around the world to present a program that is memorable and moving for us all. With the hard work of building programs in the past reflection, we will continue to strive for our mission to grow for many more years to come. Filip Pagody, violin
Filip Pogády has been hailed by critics for his “beauty of tone,” “lightning-like virtuosity” (Russkoe Slovo), and “commanding performance” (The New York Times), establishing himself as one of the most captivating violinists of his generation.
Pogády has performed on many of the world’s most prestigious stages, including New York’s Lincoln Center, Vienna’s Konzerthaus, Prague’s Rudolfinum, the Tel Aviv Opera House, Kamakura Arts Center in Japan, Natori Arts Center in Tokyo, Lotte Concert Hall and Seoul Arts Center in South Korea. His international appearances have earned him a loyal following and critical acclaim for both his technical mastery and emotional depth.

Royce Martin, piano
Pianist & Composer
Royce Martin is a pianist, composer and 2022 graduate of Berklee College of Music. Born in St. Louis, Royce taught himself to play the piano at the age of 14 on a small keyboard. He has a rich musical background and an affinity for a myriad of genres. Having worked as the in-house pianist and lecturer at the Scott Joplin State Historic Site between semesters at Berklee, after college graduation, Royce returned to St. Louis to record an album of a dozen Joplin classics, reinterpreted in his own eclectic style for his debut album “Memories on Morgan Street: Scott Joplin Reimagined”. Royce has provided original music for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion special on MAX, Hulu’s Mormon no More, and most recently completed a full feature length score for MAX .documentary

Yangbae Yang, tenor
Yang began his career as a baritone, performing the title role of Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia with The Dallas Opera, Singapore Lyric Opera, and North Carolina Opera, where critics praised him for “singing and acting as if the role had been written for him.”
After transitioning to tenor, he made his debut at Opera San José as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor and Rodolfo in La Bohème; Riccardo in Un ballo in Maschera and other leading tenor roles across the United States, Europe, and Korea.
Yang’s concert engagements: Lincoln Center in Handel’s Messiah; Mozart’s Requiem with DCINY at Carnegie Hall and has also performed Kimmel Center (Philadelphia), Susan Roberts Theater, earning acclaim for his lyrical tone and commanding stage presence.
New York District of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, First Prize at the Marian Anderson Vocal Competition, and was a National Finalist in the Zachary Vocal Competition.

Eunmi Yang, Soprano
A beautiful Lyric Coloratura Soprano, Eunmi Shin Yang performed worldwide with opera roles, including ‘Donna Elvira’ in the opera Don Giovanni at the National Theatre of Korea in Seoul, South Korea, ‘Knabe’ in Die Zauberflöte at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia as a guest artist, ‘Gilda’ in Rigoletto, ‘Mimi’ in La Bohème at Wilshire United Methodist Church in Los Angeles, and the title role of ‘Choonhyang’ in The Korean opera Choonhyang-Jun at First Presbyterian Church in Allentown. Ms.Yang has performed as a soprano soloist in several oratorios, including Handel's Messiah, Haydn's The Creation at the New York Presbyterian Church in NY, Saint Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio with the Peniel Concert Choir in New York, and has performed at numerous gala concerts as well. She performed for Harmony for Peace at Powell Hall in St. Louis, at the Kimmel Center Center in Philadelphia, and at Lincoln Center in New York, and with the JL Chamber Choir in Seoul, South Korea. Recently, she performed with the Penn Symphony Orchestra at the University of Pennsylvania’s Irvine Hall for the Verdi & Puccini Gala Concert.
